Richard attended classes from Simon Michael for 8 years, he also attended classes with Dalhart Windberg.  Richard attended art classes for 2 years at Victoria College, in victoria, Texas.  Richard is now a Patron member of the Rockport Center for the arts in Rockport, Texas, He is also in Artists Regisrty.com .
Richard is also listed in Fine Art America . Richard also has a website on ArtPickle. He has "Texas Bluebonnets" and "Back Bay at Sunset"  on display at Artist Cove Gallery, in Aransas Pass, Texas .  "Mound Creek Quail" is on display at Texas Traditions  Restraunt on Main Street in Port Lavaca, Texas.  Soon will have 3 paintings on display at Victoria College.                            

Richard was born in Cuero, Texas in 1943.  Moved to Port Lavaca, Texas as a child an attended Calhoun High School and 2 years at Victoria College.  He has been painting for more than 50 years.  Although work and raising 5 children has kept him from painting consistently.  He is hoping to retire completely soon and come home and to open our own gallery in Port Lavaca.
